IWR: -30November the 9th
Just one month to the opening of Imperia Winter Regatta, and we already count very many entries, coming from 8 Nations, and lots of contacts and requests coming from other Countries are foretelling that 2005 edition will be another successful event.
As usual the big fleet seems will be on 420, affirming IWR as one of the most popular event for this class. Austrian and Swiss crews are spending some days of training in our waters, joining our beautiful town and our wonderful weather conditions.
An interesting number of crews will be also on 470 class, being an ISAF grade3 event and being valid also as crew selection for 2006 ISAF Worlds.
Italian and French youth crews will compete at IWR on L'Equipe, popular double handed youth dinghy here in Mediterranean . Crews will spend two days in training with Italian expert coaches and then will sail races on Saturday and Sunday.
Last but not least, Laser (M) and Laser radial (F) had been recently added to IWR, and we are waiting for about fifty Italian boats will compete for 2006 ISAF Worlds crew selection.
